Decision Fatigue is REAL
When it comes to making major or difficult decisions in your life about: your home, your marriage, your kids, your job, even with food and our overall circumstances in life, who do you turn to for help first?
What if I told you that where you turn to first, will depend how quickly you’ll have an answer and will determine how quickly you end your struggle.
Decision Fatigue is REAL…you have a ton of decisions to make on a daily basis and yes, it can be exhausting. But if you don’t make these decisions they will began to weigh on your Spirit, affect your Faith and even add weight to your body.
So how can you help yourself in this area?
First, look at who you ask for help will be very important. So who do you turn to first?
Your smart “know it all” friend?
Notice, how for most of us, God and his word are sometimes the last ones you think of to turn to for help when it comes to making decisions.
Our society is so conditioned to look for outside sources to find the answers we need.
However, most of us want to make the best decisions and not prolong our suffering right? My recommendation is go to the BEST source of them all, God and his word, the Bible.
If you don’t want to keep on suffering because of your circumstances, and then from Decision Fatigue, go to God first.
Ask him in prayer to give you wisdom and understanding of your circumstance and what he believes is the best decision to make. Ask him to anoint you with wisdom through the blood of Jesus Christ and for help from the Holy Spirit. And then wait and listen for the answer.
It will be then, that you will have the wisdom to figure it out, end your struggle and feel better.
“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6
